Recover · Steam Room

A eucalyptus steam room at a downtown Boulder gym.

ONE Boulder Fitness has a steam room — genuinely rare in a Boulder gym — included with membership at 1800 Broadway. Humid heat that’s gentle on the airways, perfect after a hard interval session or a dusty trail day, and part of the same suite as our sauna and cold plunge.

Why steam

Humid heat, easy breathing.

  • Runners and cyclists winding down after hard efforts
  • Anyone who finds dry sauna heat too harsh
  • People who love a deep, relaxing sweat
  • Members chasing better sleep and a full reset

How to use it

Simple, and yours anytime.

TEMP

Warm & humid

Enveloping steam heat — breathe slow and settle in.

TIME

10–15 minutes

Long enough to loosen up; step out if you feel lightheaded.

PAIR

With the plunge

Steam, then cold plunge — an easy contrast finish.

The steam room sits in the same suite as the sauna and cold plunge, steps from the floor — recovery you’ll actually use because it’s right there.

Common questions

Answered.

Does the gym really have a steam room?

Yes — a steam room, plus a full cedar sauna and a cold plunge, all included with membership. Steam rooms are uncommon in Boulder gyms.

Sauna vs. steam room — what’s the difference?

The sauna is dry heat (about 150–175°F); the steam room is humid heat that’s gentler on the airways. We have both.

Is it included with membership?

Yes — no add-on fee. Non-members can try it on a free day pass.
